An established and reputable manufacturing business in the Caerphilly area is seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Co-Ordinator to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is not afraid to get involved in manual tasks alongside their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a small team of 5 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
- Actively participate in manual warehouse tasks, supporting the team where necessary.
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including goods in/out, inventory management, and stock control.
- Complete and manage import/export documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Schedule and co-ordinate deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Liaise with other departments, including production, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Operate a forklift when required, ensuring safe and effective handling of goods.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within the warehouse.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or co-ordinator role.
- A hands-on approach, with a willingness to be actively involved in daily warehouse operations.
- A valid forklift license.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience in handling import/export paperwork and scheduling deliveries.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate a small team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
