Warehouse Co-Ordinator

Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000p.a.
Location: Caerphilly

An established and reputable manufacturing business in the Caerphilly area is seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Co-Ordinator to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is not afraid to get involved in manual tasks alongside their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a small team of 5 warehouse staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Actively participate in manual warehouse tasks, supporting the team where necessary.
  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including goods in/out, inventory management, and stock control.
  • Complete and manage import/export documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Schedule and co-ordinate deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Liaise with other departments, including production, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Operate a forklift when required, ensuring safe and effective handling of goods.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety within the warehouse.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or co-ordinator role.
  • A hands-on approach, with a willingness to be actively involved in daily warehouse operations.
  • A valid forklift license.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Experience in handling import/export paperwork and scheduling deliveries.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate a small team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
