Projects Support Officer

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000p.a.

Quick Staff UK are recruiting for a Graduate Projects Support Officer to join a growing and well-established business in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience supporting real engineering and construction projects across the UK.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, helping to plan projects, produce technical documentation, coordinate equipment, and support safe lifting operations. If you’re organised, technically minded, and eager to build a long-term career — this could be the perfect role for you.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting project planning and delivery
• Producing RAMS and technical documentation
• Assisting with lifting plans and safe systems of work
• Using AutoCAD (2D) for drawings and layouts
• Coordinating plant and equipment hire
• Supporting HSEQ compliance and project administration
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Occasionally visiting sites across the UK

What we’re looking for:
• Recent graduate in Engineering, Construction, Civil Engineering or similar
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Positive attitude and able to work independently

Hours of work:
Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm | Fri 9am–4pm
