Quick Staff UK is looking to recruit an Extrusion Machine Operator for a well-established company in the Caerphilly area. This role involves operating extrusion machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly while meeting quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing ingredients in an efficient and effective manner
- Operating manufacturing machinery following safety protocols
- Preparing appropriate samples for testing
- Checking the quality of the finished goods
- Clean and maintain machines to ensure optimal performance
- Identify and report breakdowns or malfunctions
- Complete process documentation accurately
- Follow health & safety regulations, including PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to resolve quality issues
- Ensure finished products meet company and customer specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Key Requirements:
- Experience of operating an extrusion machine
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Previous manufacturing experience in the plastics industry
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
