Quick Staff UK is currently seeking two Production Operatives to join a reputable manufacturing business based in the Ystrad Mynach area. If you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment and are looking for a role with a great pay structure, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving Deliveries: Accepting and inspecting incoming materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Manual Production Tasks: Engaging in hands-on production activities, including:
- Stirring and mixing media in buckets
- Sieving and washing media
- Labelling containers of finished products accurately
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring workspaces are clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable with manual handling tasks (including lifting, stirring, and sieving).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks precisely and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to various roles within the production process. Switching efficiently between tasks based on daily production requirements.
- Team Player: Collaborates effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols in a chemical production environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
- Familiarity with chemical handling (training will be provided if necessary).
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Hours of Work:
- Role 1: Sunday to Thursday (Sun 7am – 12pm / Mon to Thu 9am-5pm)
- (Friday & Saturday Off)
- Role 2: Tuesday to Saturday (Tue to Fri 7am-3pm / Sat 7am – 12pm)
(Sunday & Monday Off)
- Rate of Pay:
Monday to Friday £12.00p/hr
Saturday & Sunday £18.00p/hr
Gross Pay = £450p/wk
