Quick Staff UK is recruiting Packers / Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Blackwood area.
This is a long-term opportunity, with successful workers having the potential to secure a permanent position with our client after 13 weeks.
You don’t necessarily need previous packing or manufacturing experience. Full training will be provided, so we’re primarily looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn and have a positive attitude towards work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing and wrapping finished products
- Preparing completed products ready for dispatch
- Carrying out basic checks on finished goods
- Completing simple production paperwork
- Working as part of a small production team
- Keeping your workstation clean and organised
- Following all Health & Safety and production procedures
Key Requirements:
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with practical, hands-on work
- Able to work the rotating day and afternoon shift pattern
- Previous production or packing experience is beneficial but not essential
Hours & Pay:
You’ll work Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern:
- Days: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- £13.10 per hour
- Weekly rotating shifts
