Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and mix sealants, filler materials and paints to specified ratios.
- Apply primers, topcoat paints and spray coatings to components in line with required standards.
- Carry out basic masking tasks and minor filling to ensure a high-quality cosmetic finish.
- Prepare and rub down surfaces prior to painting.
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting projects and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Flexible to meet business needs, including working different shift patterns when required.
- Willingness to learn correct work documentation procedures and develop knowledge of parts and processes during the training period.
- Take ownership for the quality and accuracy of your own work, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Safely meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation and parts control.
Key Requirements:
- Previous painting experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical specifications, manuals, and work instructions.
- Confident in documenting work accurately and clearly.
- Good arithmetic skills and excellent attention to detail when following written instructions.
- Competent computer skills to access repair documents online and use in-house production applications
