Quick Staff UK are recruiting for an experienced Group SHEQ Adviser to join a growing specialist engineering and infrastructure business. This is a varied role combining site inspections, audits, incident investigations, training delivery, and compliance management across multiple locations throughout the UK. It’s an excellent opportunity for a NEBOSH-qualified Health & Safety professional looking to further develop their career within a well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health, safety, environmental and quality inspections across company and client sites throughout the UK
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing reports and recommendations
- Identify hazards and implement practical risk reduction measures
- Support the development and promotion of a positive SHEQ culture across the business
- Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, safety bulletins, inductions, and training sessions
- Attend client and internal health & safety meetings
- Monitor compliance with health & safety legislation, industry standards, and company procedures
- Assist with audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate SHEQ records and documentation
Key Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001
- Understanding of environmental legislation and compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and investigative abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays
