Quick Staff UK are recruiting a team of experienced Fabricator Welders to join our client’s busy workshop on the outskirts of Bristol. This is a great opportunity for highly skilled individuals to join a long-established structural steel specialist, on a permanent basis, working on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Fabricate and weld structural steel components using MIG, TIG, Stick, and coded welding techniques
- Work with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Use hand and power tools (grinders, saws, drills) to prepare and finish workpieces
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all structures meet required specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and perform basic maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience fabricating and welding structural steel
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick, and coded welding
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable in a workshop environment

Hours or work:
Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:30
Friday 07:45 – 12:45
Pay: £16.41/hr basic
Enhanced Pay Rate: £17.41/hr after 5hrs overtime
Overtime:
Monday to Saturday £24.61/hr
Sunday £32.82/hr
