Quick Staff UK is recruiting for an Adhesive Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production or manufacturing experience who is looking for a long-term career with a company that values reliability, quality, and teamwork. Following a successful 13-week temporary period, there is the opportunity to secure a permanent contract with the client.
As an Adhesive Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the production process by safely operating machinery and equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring products meet the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
- Preparing and mixing materials in accordance with production requirements
- Monitoring product quality and carrying out visual inspections
- Following manufacturing schedules, work instructions, and specifications
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Working collaboratively as part of a production team
- Complying with all health and safety procedures
- Undertaking other production duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience
- Good attention to detail
- A strong awareness of health and safety
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:15pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 1:00pm
- 45-minute unpaid break per day
The role offers a 45-hour working week, with:
- 40 hours paid at the basic hourly rate
- 5 hours paid at time and a half
Pay & Benefits
- Basic pay from £12.74 per hour
- Enhanced overtime rate for 5 contracted hours each week
