Job Description
Quick Staff UK, a leading independent recruitment agency specialising in manufacturing and packaging, is seeking a reliable Production Operative to join a small team to work a regular afternoon shift. This is a temporary to permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving, established manufacturing organisation in the Newtown area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic assembly and packaging of components following guidelines.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Adhering to a clean-as-you-go policy.
- Assist with the cleaning of the work area.
- Any other warehouse or factory tasks requested by the management
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Must be dexterous
- High level of commitment and drive
- Adaptable and flexible
- Communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Hours of work / Pay Rates:
2.00pm – 10.00pm Monday to Friday
