Quick Staff UK is recruiting for a PCB Coater to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Cwmbran.
This is a straightforward, hands-on production role primarily involving spraying/painting protective coatings onto PCB boards in a small spray booth. No assembly work is involved, and full training will be provided.
The position is long-term with the potential to become permanent after 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spraying/painting protective coatings onto PCB boards
- Working within a small designated spray booth
- Wearing a protective mask and required PPE while spraying
- Ensuring an even and consistent coating is applied
- Visually checking finished boards for quality
- Following simple work instructions and safety procedures
- Keeping the spray booth and work area clean and tidy
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in spray painting, coating, electronics or manufacturing would be useful, but isn’t essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Good attention to detail
- A steady hand and good hand-to-eye coordination
- The ability to carry out repetitive work accurately
- A quality-focused approach
- No issue wearing a mask/PPE and working within a small spray booth
- Good reliability and attendance
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday only
Week One: 5:30am – 3:00pm
Week Two: 2:30pm – 12:00am
Shifts rotate weekly.
Pay Rate:
Basic Rate: £13.52 per hour
Shift Allowance: 22.5%
Total Hourly Rate: £16.56 per hour
