Quick Staff UK is recruiting for a PCB Tester to join a well-established electronics manufacturer based in Cwmbran.
This is a long-term opportunity working a Monday to Thursday, 4-day week, on a rotating two-shift system. The role has the potential to become permanent after 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies
- Carrying out visual and functional inspections
- Identifying and reporting faults or defects
- Following work instructions and testing procedures
- Accurately completing production and quality documentation
- Handling electronic components carefully and accurately
- Working to quality and production standards
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience within electronics or PCB manufacturing would be ideal, but isn’t essential.
We will also consider candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience who have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good hand-to-eye coordination
- Good manual dexterity
- The ability to carry out repetitive, detailed work accurately
- A quality-focused approach
- A willingness to learn and undertake training
- Flexibility to work both shifts on a rotating basis
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday only
Week One: 5:30am – 3:00pm
Week Two: 2:30pm – 12:00am
Shifts rotate weekly.
Pay Rate:
Basic Rate: £13.52 per hour
Shift Allowance: 22.5%
Total Hourly Rate: £16.56 per hour
