Quick Staff UK is recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing company based in the Aberdare area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, long-term temporary position with the possibility of an extension beyond the initial three-month assignment. You’ll become part of a hardworking team where safety, reliability and quality are valued. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a busy manufacturing facility
- Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the site
- Supply production lines with materials as required
- Carry out stock movements and storage duties
- Complete basic warehouse and production support tasks when required
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Key Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- A strong understanding of safe working practices
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible approach and willingness to support other warehouse duties when required
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Thursday
- 6:00am – 4:00pm
- £13.75 per hour
- Initial 3-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of being extended
