Quick Staff UK are recruiting for a Claims Adviser to join a leading legal expenses insurance provider based in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal, insurance, claims handling, or customer service background who enjoys investigating cases, building relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll work closely with policyholders, brokers, solicitors, and insurers to manage claims and ensure cases are handled efficiently and fairly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution
- Review claims to ensure policy terms and conditions have been met
- Liaise with policyholders, brokers, solicitors, and third-party providers
- Assist with auditing funded legal cases
- Investigate claims and gather additional information where required
- Handle policy and claims-related enquiries by telephone and email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Support compliance and regulatory requirements within a regulated environment
- Maintain accurate records and case management systems
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience within claims handling, insurance, legal services, or a regulated environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Confident handling telephone enquiries and managing multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, organised, and customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Legal expenses insurance experience
- Legal or insurance qualifications
- Degree-level education
- Experience using case management systems
Hours of work:
9.00am-5.30pm (can be a flexible)
3 days a week working from the office in Cardiff city centre
2 days a week working from home
