We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and an interest in mechanical processes to develop their skills within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Duties:
- Assemble products and components using hand tools and specialised equipment
- Follow assembly instructions and drawings to ensure precise construction
- Inspect assembled parts for quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly, warehouse operations, or related fields is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are essential
- Experience with assembly processes and procedures is advantageous
- Ability to read drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required
Hours of work:
Mon to Thu 7.30am-4.45pm / Fri 7.30am-4.00pm
* Temporary to permanent after 13 weeks *
